Sermorelin

Sermorelin has been a topic of popular debate as of recent. Sermorelin is a peptide that has been genetically engineered to stimulate secretion of growth hormone known as GHRH, which is produced in the hypothalamus. One study, conducted by the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, has shown that sermorelin may be an option for preventing ventricular remodeling in swine. With daily application, sermorelin showed positive results in reducing scar tissue and improved diastolic strain. This suggests a local activation of the growth hormone, GHRH, leads to a reparative process.

Another study, conducted by the Chinese University of Hong Kong, showed even more promising results. Regular inflammation of the ocular tissues can lead to a multitude of different disease. However, an increase in application of GHRH showed a decrease in ocular inflammation in the iris and ciliary body. GHRH also aids in the body’s recruitment of immune cells and proinflammatory mediators.

Sermorelin has been shown to help with mental health issues as well. Studies at the University of Szeged. Application of GHRH have shown signs of having an antidepressant-like effect.

In addition to showing signs improvement in depression, Semorelin has also been shown to aid with passive avoidance learning therapy in another study conducted by the University of Szeged. Sermorelin and its insulin-like growth factor showed positive results in several tests performed on mice.

Sermorelin has shown some pretty promising attributes in previous studies and it will continue to be used in experiments in the future. There is still so much about this peptide that scientist have yet to unravel.
